Alice

Alice is Zenless Zone Zero’s new character, a Physical Attack agent effective at dealing high amounts of physical burst damage. A must-have for single-target fights.

• Strengths: Insane sustained DPS that has flexible builds.
• Weaknesses: Requires field time and heavy investment.

Yuzuha

A Support agent who specializes in buffing anomaly teams. She also has a parry stance and energy-regen buff for her team, making her ideal against bosses and defense clears.

• Strengths: Great scaling and is useful across ZZZ’s content.
• Weaknesses: You’ll need to have solid rotation knowledge to maximize her utility.

Ju Fufu

A Physical and Fire Stun agent who fights close-range and even deals damage off-field. She also provides team-wide buffs like increases to Critical Damage.

• Strengths: High damage amp, scales quite well into the late game.
• Weaknesses: Needs a proper comp to really shine.

Yixuan

A long-range Rupture agent that can completely ignore the enemy’s defenses. A must-pull agent for end-game content that can even pull enemies together with her crowd control.

• Strengths: Great scaling with flexible synergy.
• Weaknesses: Requires support agents to unlock her full potential.

Hugo Vlad​

An Ice Attack agent whose gameplay revolves around Totalize, capitalizing on stunned enemies. Ideal for teams that have Stun agents like Lighter or Lycaon.

• Strengths: Insane burst windows, high damage ceiling.
• Weaknesses: Rotation-sensitive, gear hungry.

Astra Yao

Yao is a Support agent who buffs her team by increasing their attack while healing them with her ultimate. A valuable agent in any team comp with DPS ZZZ characters.

• Strengths: She is universally useful with smooth rotations.
• Weaknesses: Indirectly contributes to the team’s damage and is quite synergy reliant.

Hoshimi Miyabi​

An Ice Attack agent that can enter different stances and deal high Frost damage. She uses Frostbite and Freeze effects for her team to capitalize on.

• Strengths: Good against elite mobs and bosses. A good comfort pick.
• Weaknesses: She is bottlenecked by team buffers.

Tsukishiro Yanagi

A strong Attack agent who can deal with single-target fights and groups of enemies. She plays around with the Disorder mechanic, allowing her to deal huge amounts of damage.

• Strengths: Very high burst potential and scales with strong supports.
• Weaknesses: She is quite rotation-sensitive and investment-heavy.

Caesar King​

Caesar is a Physical Defense agent who is great at stunning enemies. Great for teams that need survivability and a large damage buff.

• Strengths: Offers defensive and offensive support. A meta staple.
• Weaknesses: Has weak solo carry potential.

Qingyi

A Stun agent with fast basic attacks. She can pull her enemies and set them up for big combos or just crowd control in general.

• Strengths: High mobility with abilities that have great stun capabilities.
• Weaknesses: Her solo DPS isn’t great.

S-Tier – Top Performers

Strong, versatile agents who are meta-relevant in most scenarios.

Vivian Banshee

An Anomaly agent who deals Physical and Ether damage. She revolves around weakening enemies over time with Prophecy, Abloom, and Disorder.

• Strengths: Powerful burst, versatile.
• Weaknesses: Gear and team dependent.

Trigger

An Electric Stun agent who can be built as a DPS, a Support, or solely as a stunner. She can apply Vulnerability, making her a flexible pick in various team comps.

• Strengths: Flexible role fit, great support.
• Weaknesses: She is highly comp-dependent and requires a high crit rate.

Soldier

This version of Anby is more of an Electric Stun agent that can deal damage even when out of the field. Quite flexible in team comps and contributes to both Daze and damage.

• Strengths: Reliable DPS, easy to build around.
• Weaknesses: Ceiling below SS monsters.

Evelyn Chevalier

A fast-hitting Fire Attack agent with gameplay that revolves around her building up to the Binding Seal state. She is effective against single-target fights and crowds of enemies.

• Strengths: Universal value and highly evasive.
• Weaknesses: High skill ceiling and is reliant on teammates like Astra.

Asaba Harumasa

Asaba is an Electric Attack agent who can do both ranged and melee combat. He fits perfectly in teams that stun enemies or apply elemental statuses.

• Strengths: Has pretty strong scaling. One of the most satisfying agents to play.
• Weaknesses: Barely leaves any room for mistakes. Requires field time.

Lighter

A strong Stun agent that fights with an engine-powered gauntlet. He excels at dueling and offers fire and ice buffs and resistance shred.

• Strengths: Has strong AoE abilities with a simple kit.
• Weaknesses: Dependent on supports like Lucy or Ben.

Burnice White

An Attack agent with dual flamethrowers specializing in dealing consistent Fire damage to enemies. Ideal for dealing with groups of enemies with her AoE abilities.

• Strengths: Has great fire synergy and easily clears mobs.
• Weaknesses: Performs badly in single-target fights.

Jane Doe

Jane is a reliable Ether DPS with clean rotations.

• Strengths: Has a consistent playstyle. Is flexible with comps.
• Weaknesses: Power ceiling is lower than SS carries.

Luciana “Lucy” de Montefio

A Fire Support agent who buffs the attack power of her allies. She also deals considerable amounts of damage from her ultimate.

• Strengths: Versatile and flexible with energy regen capabilities.
• Weaknesses: Indirectly focuses on damage.

Rina

Rina is an Electric Support agent who focuses on buffing her allies while providing utility. A strong pick for teams that want consistent buffs and energy regen.

• Strengths: Does really well in boosting an Electric team’s DPS.
• Weaknesses: She is sub-par with non-electric teams.

Ellen Joe

Ellen is a strong Ice Attack agent, dealing massive Ice damage to her enemies. Does well in single-target fights and crowds of enemies.

• Strengths: A high-tier burst DPS with high mobility.
• Weaknesses: Investment-heavy and mechanically demanding.

Von Lycaon​

Lycaon is an agent who specializes in stunning his enemies. He can also apply Freeze and Frostbite, which makes him a strong lockdown agent.

• Strengths: Quite tanky with decent DPS.
• Weaknesses: He is reliant on ice synergies.

Zhu Yuan

Zhu Yuan is a powerful Attack agent who is one of the few ZZZ characters to apply the Corruption effect. Excellent at fighting enemies weak to Ether.

• Strengths: Reliable damage and can flexibly fit in comps.
• Weaknesses: Burst ceiling is lower than that of SS characters.

Soukaku

A primarily Ice Support agent that provides utility and support for her team. She can also function as a fighter with fast combo attacks, offering an aggressive playstyle.

• Strengths: Fluid attack tempo. Fun to play.
• Weaknesses: High skill ceiling.

A-Tier – Strong but Outclassed

Solid agents who thrive in the right comps.

Pan Yinhu

Pan is a Physical Defense agent who offers healing and buffs to his team. Fits in perfectly in a team that wants a tank that can also provide sustain.

• Strengths: Flexible with comps. Heals allies and debuffs enemies.
• Weaknesses: Rarely a must-pick over S/SS supports.

Pulchra Fellini

Pulchra is an Ice Stun agent with abilities focused on Daze buildup. Her debuff, Binding Trap, sets up enemies to take more damage from her and the team.

• Strengths: Comfortable playstyle. Lots of CC.
• Weaknesses: Limited damage output.

Seth Lowell

Balanced DPS with steady performance.

• Strengths: Offers high survivability with buffs and shields. Flexible with comps.
• Weaknesses: Too reliant on shielding, which requires skill and experience.

Piper Wheel

A physical Anomaly agent who applies physical debuffs and deals damage through her Anomaly buildup. Her playstyle focuses on stacking a buff that increases the Anomaly’s buildup.

• Strengths: Good team utility and crowd control.
• Weaknesses: Modest damage.

Nekomata Mana

An agile and fast physical attacker that prefers taking on single-target fights rather than groups of enemies.

• Strengths: High mobility and satisfying gameplay.
• Weaknesses: Outscaled by top carries.

Grace Howard

Howard is an Electric anomaly agent who uses her grenades to apply debuffs and damage over time on enemies. Her gameplay revolves around inflicting Shock.

• Strengths: Constant Shock application. Provides big buffs to Electric teams.
• Weaknesses: Low solo damage.

Koleda Belobog

Pyro AoE queen who excels at dazing enemies with her hammer attacks. She is great with team comps that can capitalize on taking down dazed enemies.

• Strengths: Great crowd clears, easy to use.
• Weaknesses: Weak against bosses.

Soldier 11

A Fire Attack agent focused on high-damage fire attacks. She has a fun playstyle with skills that offer invincibility frames.

• Strengths: Straightforward kit and has decent damage.
• Weaknesses: Limited synergy with top comps.

Nicole Demara

One of the most underrated among the ZZZ characters, Nicole is a support agent who does well in controlling the battlefield. She can pull enemies in with her vortices and make them vulnerable to her allies’ attacks.

• Strengths: Battlefield control. Has a unique niche.
• Weaknesses: Narrow comp usage.

B-Tier – Playable but Situational

Workable choices, usually outclassed by higher-tier agents.

Anby Demara​

An agent that focuses on stunning her enemies with quick Daze buildups. With her fast-hitting moves, she can open up opportunities for her teammates.

Strengths: Reliable early damage and CC capabilities.

Weaknesses: Falls off in the late game.

Anton Ivanov

An Attack agent that specializes in applying Shock with his attacks. Works well in Electric teams that play off the Shock status.

Strengths: High single-target damage.

Weaknesses: Clunky animations.

Corin Wickes

A close-range physical damage dealer with fast and smooth movements. Stylish and flashy gameplay that rewards precise timing.

Ben Bigger
