Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) remains a major mobile game in the Philippines, supported by a strong local community and a large global player base. According to Quantumrun's gaming market analysis, MLBB reached approximately 51 million monthly active players in January 2026.

But when it is time to grab a new skin, join an event, or unlock more in-game content, one question matters: Weekly Diamond Pass or regular MLBB Diamonds?

This guide breaks down the difference so PH players can spend smarter—and shows how to complete an MLBB top-up through Cocodp.

What Is the Weekly Diamond Pass?

The Weekly Diamond Pass is a subscription-style microtransaction item inside Mobile Legends designed to give players a high return on investment (ROI) over seven days. Unlike a standard top-up, where you receive all currency immediately, the Weekly Diamond Pass uses a combined delivery model: an instant initial payout paired with daily claimable rewards over one week.

1. Mobile Legends Weekly Diamond Pass Total Diamonds: What Do You Get?

Here is the basic breakdown:

l 80 Diamonds instantly after the pass is activated

l 20 Diamonds per day for 7 days = 140 Diamonds

l 220 Diamonds in total from the pass

l Daily Choice Boxes with selectable in-game resources

l 1 Late Sign-in Card to help recover an eligible missed daily reward

So if you regularly open MLBB anyway, the pass gives you a simple way to gradually build up Diamonds without making a larger one-time purchase.

2. Who Is the Weekly Diamond Pass Best For?

The pass makes the most sense if you:

l Log in to MLBB almost every day

l Want to stretch a smaller gaming budget

l Are saving for an upcoming skin or event

l Do not need your full Diamond balance immediately

Player Tip: The Weekly Diamond Pass is all about planning. If you need Diamonds right now, regular top-ups may still be the better play.

What Are Regular MLBB Diamonds?

Regular MLBB Diamond top-ups are direct, single-transaction purchases. Once payment is confirmed, the selected Diamonds are usually processed to the account shortly afterward, although actual delivery time may vary in unusual circumstances.

Key Use Cases for Standard Top-Ups

While the Weekly Diamond Pass offers excellent cumulative value, regular top-ups remain indispensable for specific gaming needs:

l Urgent Event Draws: High-tier skin events like KOF, Aspirants, or M-Series often run on tight deadlines. If an event is about to end, waiting several days to build up your balance through a Weekly Pass is not practical.

l Time-Limited Flash Sales: Discounted skin sales and limited-time store bundles require immediate funds before the offer expires.

l Instant Starlight Unlocks: If you want to activate Starlight Membership at the start of a new month, a direct recharge can help you reach the required Diamond balance immediately.

Pro Tip: Players should also distinguish package bonus Diamonds from first-recharge or event promotions. Eligibility and promotional rules can change by account and event, so don't assume a temporary bonus applies to every purchase.

Weekly Diamond Pass vs Regular Diamonds: Key Differences You Need to Know

To help you decide which purchasing method best fits your current gaming goals, here is a direct comparison of the two options.

Factor	Weekly Diamond Pass	Regular MLBB Diamonds
Total Diamonds	220 Diamonds (80 instant + 20/day)	Varies by package size selected
Diamond delivery	Instant base + Daily login claim (7 days)	Usually processed after payment confirmation
Value pattern	Stronger Diamond-per-peso potential if you can wait for the full cycle	Better suited to immediate access and exact purchase planning
Extra benefits	Late Sign-in Card and daily Choice Boxes under current mechanics	Package-specific bonus Diamonds may be included
Best Use Case	Regular players saving gradually for future spending	Events, skins, draws, or purchases requiring Diamonds now

The Verdict: How to Choose?

l Choose the Weekly Diamond Pass when you want to stretch a smaller budget, log in consistently, and don't need the full amount today. It works particularly well for planned spending, such as gradually building a Diamond balance before a future skin or event.

l Choose Regular Diamonds when speed and flexibility matter. If you need a specific amount for a limited-time purchase, a direct Mobile Legends recharge makes it easier to reach that target immediately.

Smart Gamer Strategy: If you log in regularly, use the Weekly Diamond Pass to build your Diamond balance over time, then make a direct top-up only when you need to cover a shortfall for a limited-time event. This can reduce your average cost per Diamond compared with relying only on direct top-ups, while still giving you flexibility when you need Diamonds quickly.

How to Top Up MLBB Diamonds in the Philippines

For Philippine players looking to buy a Weekly Diamond Pass or standard Diamond bundles, choosing a convenient top-up platform matters. Cocodp operates a dedicated Philippines storefront that supports local payment methods and direct MLBB top-ups.

Cocodp Philippines currently supports GCash, Maya, credit/debit cards, and other supported local payment methods for MLBB orders. This lets players use familiar Philippine payment options instead of relying solely on international payment methods.

Step-by-Step MLBB Top-Up Process on Cocodp:

Ø Open the Cocodp Philippines MLBB recharge page.

Ø Select your desired product, such as Diamonds or the Weekly Diamond Pass.

Ø Enter your MLBB User ID and Zone ID, then confirm your order details.

FAQs

1. Can You Stack Multiple MLBB Weekly Diamond Passes on One Account?

Yes. Cocodp currently states that the MLBB account must be at least Level 5 and that players can purchase up to 10 one-time Weekly Diamond Passes through third-party platforms, for a maximum total duration of 70 days. This limit also includes one-time passes purchased in-game. Each additional pass extends the reward period by seven days, subject to MLBB's current purchase rules.

2. Is the Weekly Diamond Pass Cheaper than Buying Regular Diamonds?

The Weekly Diamond Pass generally offers a lower cost per Diamond than a comparable direct Diamond package, provided you collect the rewards across the full seven-day period. However, package prices, bonuses, and promotions can change, so players should compare the live listings before purchasing.

3. What Happens If You Forget to Claim Your Daily Pass Rewards on a Specific Day?

If you log in but forget to claim your daily Weekly Diamond Pass reward, the unclaimed reward can be stored in Layla's Saving Box under the current game mechanics. If you miss logging in for an entire day, a Late Sign-in Card can be used to recover the missed daily reward. Because MLBB mechanics can change, always check the current in-game rules for the latest details.

Conclusion

Choosing between the Weekly Diamond Pass and regular diamond packs depends on your needs. The Weekly Pass offers stronger cost-per-Diamond value for daily players, while direct top-ups deliver instant currency for time-sensitive events.
